I had quite a ruff day this friday before I came to the airport. All the people I was travelling with had been waiting there for me for quite a while, but when I got there, had something to eat and got to start relax, the day just went better and better. I was travelling from Sola airposrt (Stavanger) with my boyfriend Sam, his little brother Nikolai, my good good friend Linn & her boyfriend Somkhid. A great collection of awesome people!
We arrived at Heathrow in London after an hour and a half long flight. We picked up our luggage, and then we found a place to wait for my sister Adelheid, my mum Heidi & my dad Øystein. They showed up about half an hour after us.
None of this big group of people has ever been to London before, so we had some problems finding out where to go, how to travel and how far we were supposed to travel. But we figured it out! On our way to London city, we passed Earls Court!!!! I was amazed, and the only thing I could think about was "Is there anybody in there" live cd from Earls court.
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Earls court".
EARLS COURT!
We found our stop, and got off the train. Linn & Somkhid were staying at another hotel, so they were to go off at another station. We got ourselves up from the underground tracks, and stared straight at the theatre we were going to see a Queen show in the evening. Then Sam and dad found a map to see if they could find our hotel. I looked around and asked for the name of the hotel. When they answered me, I was looking straight at it, so we strated walking towards it. The check in went smoothly and we went to find our rooms. They were a bit small and the light was bad. Glad we're just sleeping at the hotel and not going to stay there all day.

We went out for something to drink and when Linn & Somkhid came a bit later, we all went out to eat before the "We Will Rock You" show. I'm not gonna write too much about the Queen show, but I have to say that it was aazing! The people on stage were so good at dancing, singing and acting. It was nothing like I had expected. It was better!
After the show Linn & Somkhid went back to the hotel. So did mum, dad, Adelheid & Nikolai as well. But I and Sam went straight to the casino at the hotel! We tried a new game and after we played the roulett. It was a great night with good drinks, fun games and we got to talk to some new people there as well. We didn't go to bed until late, but we had a blast.

DAY 2
We woke up just a few minutes before the check out, packed our luggage and went downstairs to check out. We did wait for the rest of the family, but they were a bit late, so we checked out from our rooms and then asked them to put our luggage at the hotel. Then we went sraigh to get something to eat. Mum, dad and Adelheid came a while after. After we'd eaten, mum and dad went one way and me, Sam, Adelheid & Nikolai went another way. We were going to Oxford street to see if we found some cool stuff. All we found was some new Pink Floyd stuff for me, mostly t-shirts. We decided to go back to the hotel and on the way we found this place who was selling banana latte! Adelheid said that it sounded good, se me and the boys dragged her in so she could try. It was a great cafè break, but people were staring at us all the time. We were laughing all the way, and had such a good time!
Me laughing hysterically!
Adelheid laughed so she got the straw in her face. You can see a little redness over her eyebrow!
Laughed so hard I started to tear up! Behind us - a Prat a Manger store. You are supposed to say that in french. I thought it was english.. Sounded funny!
Later that day we met up with my parents and got in a taxi who would take us to the next hotel in Wembley. We arrived at this cozy hotel looking thing and they told us that there were some problems with the booking. So we had to wait for a while, and then the problem was solved, so we put our stuff in the room, changed to the concert outfit and went out to get something to wat and drink.
A few hours before the show, we meet up with Linn & Somkhid and we went together over to Wembley stadium. We fund the tickets we had booked and not long after, we went inside and found our seats, which was great!
Me & Linn at Wembley stadium
The show started with a bang! I don't know if I was more exited about the show coming up, or that I was waiting for the show coming up - at Wembley! I've seen quite a few live dvd's from different bands, performing at Wembley stadium, and it looks amazing!
The sad thing about Wembley stadium is that they can't have the music too loud. And that was very noticeable. You tried to sing along, and you soon felt that the only thing people could hear, was your voice. Ok, it was not that bad, but I really wish that they could turn up the volume, just a bit.
But other than that, it was great! And this was Linn's very first The Wall concert! I felt honoured to sit with her, and we had so much fun. After all our girl-nights with PF, Beatles and The Boss, we were both ready to experience this show together.
Amazing stadium
One thing I love about going to Roger Waters concerts, is that I get to show of my amazing tattoos! Love it when people as if they can take a closer look or take photos of them. And I also like to show myself as the Pink Floyd crazy girl I am.
After the show we started talking to a group of guys (because of my tattoos) and it always feels amazing talking to people that share the same interest as you. We went back to the hotel, and there we met a group of people outside. All of them saw the show, so we sat outside talking with them, for hours, about the show and other experiences.
Love it!
The day after the show, we went to London city to see some of the famous buildings, so we found a hop on - hop off bus. We wanted to sit upstairs in the bus, so we got the best view. Only one small propblem. It was raining and it got really cold after a while. But we got to see Big Ben, The Eye, Hyde Park, Westminster Abby etc, so we had a great time, but I have to go back one day and do it all over without the rain. Then it might be possible to get off the bus and really see some of the buildings and places close up.
All in all we had a fun day of sightseen, and we were all starting to look forward to go to Dublin the next day!
